It's a dream for many students and their parents to go to big colleges and universities. Clearing bone-melting entrances and paying a very high amount as fees are the pre-requisites of getting into good colleges and universities. Sometimes, to clear these entrance exams, aspirants go to coaching and spend a decent amount of money. After these rigorous processes, an individual gets admission to big institutions. But when they land their first step inside, they get off the ground. They see a whole different world; their eyes get dazzled by big cars, lavish clothes, a rich lifestyle, etc. They get to interact with people from different cities, states, and even nations. At first, they get strayed, misled, and deceived from the purpose for which they have come to the institutions. They get involved in indecent activities like smoking, drinking, clubbing, etc. When the flames get reduced, the popcorn starts to ground.
More or less, this is a fact: friendship happens when certain measures like vibe, knowledge, field, liking, lifestyles, etc. get matched. Most of the time, people feel inferior to others and try to match them. It starts with showing off and pretending to be rich and wealthy to tackle this inferiority complex. When they fall at these fronts, they start to feel depressed and experience anxiety. Gradually, the curtains from their eyes start to fall, and they start to see the real world—fake friends and relationships, bitching, double standards, etc.—and then they realise the eye-opening scenario. This is the point that decides the future of an individual.
Now, what is the solution? First of all, one should think about why they have come from their home to these places, what sacrifices their parents have made, etc. You just have to enlighten yourself about the purpose and your situation because you are the one who knows yourself the most. I understand that this is the phase that one should enjoy; on the other hand, this is the phase that either makes you or breaks you.
